Skull Daze Interview
1. Hi guys, first let me thank you for sending us a copy of Skull Daze, it was a great pleasure to hear. What has the release of this album brought you already? Are the gigs getting bigger and better?
Hi Tijs. Thank you for your words about our debut album. We are very proud of this release. We have worked very hard on songwriting and production and we are very happy with the final result. This release has brought us popularity, not only in Italy but also in many other Countries thanks to a lot of very good reviews that have been issued all over the world.Gigs are getting bigger and better and we hope things will continue this way.

2. Do you have any plans to start touring within or outside of the country?
Yeah, of course. We are planning gigs all over Italy and we hope to come and play in Europe very soon, we are working on it.
Our intention is to play as often as possible all over Europe to get the chance to kick some ass… ehehehe
3. What brought you to playing this particular style of rock/metal? What are your big influences, bands as well as music scenes you grew up in/around?
Playing this style of music means a lot for me.I love all metal music, especially when the classic hard rock music meets heavy metal style. My biggest musical influences have to be found in all the heavy metal / hard rock scene.I love hard rock bands like Alice Cooper, WASP, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Scorpions but I’m in love also for heavy metal and melodic death metal music !
I think that all these influences can be found in our debut album.
4. If there's any Italian band, besides yourselves, that you would definitely want all to hear, which one is it?
Hmmm… Regarding hard rock music it is very difficult for me to mention some names…There are a lot of bands playing rock/hard rock in Italy but in my opinion just a few of them can be mentioned such as killer Klown, Lucky Bastardz, Dustineyes. In my opinion, Italian bands are often talented but exclusively in the heavy metal scene.
Here in Rome Noumeno is a new band that really kick ass !

5. Are you living the rock n' roll dream more than you are focusing on musicianship, or the other way around?
We are definitively focusing on musicianship… (hmmmm who is gonna believe this ? ehehe)
6. Apart from promoting the album, what are your biggest plans right now?
The main plan is to play all around Italy and all over Europe. We would like very much to go and play in Sweden cause many of the bands we actually like are from there.
Touring with bands like Hardcore Superstar, Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx ecc… would be amazing.
7. In your bio, it's mentioned that you "were sick of all the bullshit around". Have many bands had the same idea or are you still sort of pioneers in the genre?
We think we still are a sort of pioneers.
As far as I know, we were the first in Italy – and we still are the only – that combined the great american hair metal from the 80’s and the modern sleaze rock from Scandinavia.

8. How much are you influenced by other Italian bands, or are your biggest musical examples to be found on a more international level?
Not at all !
As already mentioned before, our main influences have to be found on a more international level.
9. Which of your heroes would you like to share a stage with most of all?
Motley Crue definitely !
10. And finally: when can we expect you in Belgium :)
Ehehe… I hope very soon, we are working on that as well.Belgium and the middle Europe Countries have always been a great scene for hard rock / heavy metal music!
Stay tuned and… dazed or be dazed !!
