Guns n' Roses concert review
Sportpaleis Antwerpen
2010-09-30
The crowd was ready for the first guns and roses performance in four years, and they knew it!
The band started (only a little over time, witch is rare) with "Chinese Democracy" and the dome exploded.
Pyrotechnics, video walls, the band changing outfits constantly, the old school G'n'R moves from mr. Rose, everything to light up the evening sky in Antwerp city.
They played a nice set, consisting of both old and new songs and the solos weren't as blatantly present as they were at Graspop 2006.
They where alive and kicking for about 2 and a half hours, which was a welcome treat after so many years.
From my experience of the show there's no possible way that anyone couldn't love what they put down that night, and I do believe the crowd behind me agreed whole-heartedly...
