The last time I saw Mike Tramp was 1985 I think....touring with White Lion (Big game tour)
I've always been a big fan of the man's music...so I was expecting a lot from this evening !!!

Because of my work I missed the two support acts Crimes of Passion & Earthmover but some friends told me I didn't miss a thing !
Mike hit the stage at about 21.45 u and immediately you could see that we were in for an amazing gig !
Mike was joined on stage by the great Mr. Soren Andersen on guitars , Claus Langeskov on bass and Morten Hellborn on drums !!

Even after all these years Mike's voice sounds amazing...knowing the man is almost 50 !! The man has the experience and knows how to please an audience !!

They played mostly songs from the new album "Stand your ground" with the song "A soldier never started a war" as my absolute favorite of this night...
this song reminds me most of his white lion period !! Respect here !!!
They also played some great White Lion songs in the form of "Little Fighter" , "Broken heart" & "When the children cry"
I love hearing those amazing songs again....
Also he brought a song from his Freak of Nature period "Rescue me"....

The band enjoyed themself on stage and were making jokes the whole time !
Mike was telling us of his past years on the road....and how bands in this days always were teasing each other !
The story about Stryper was just hilarious !!
After an mazing set the band gave us two encore's....
One was the amazing "Hymn to Ronnie"...for me one of the greatest tribute songs EVER !!
The last song was "More to life than this" mixed with Mike's version of Phil Lynott's "The boys are back in town"

The band played an amazing 2 hour set so my expectations were all fullfilled !!!!
This is surely a night to remember....
