Jeff Scott Soto - Live @ The Rock Temple Kerkrade 09-07-2011

As warming up for his show at Bang your head festival JSS decided to to some small club gigs....I had the pleasure seeing him here in the rock temple !!

After small technical problems JSS hit the stage with an amazing performance of WET's "Brothers in arms"
Immediatly followed by two songs of his solo records "21th century" & "On my own"
The club was packed and it was hot like hell in there but Jeff continued with "Blissful garden" (Talisman) and "Drowning" (another one of his solo records)

By then Jeff made some jokes about the extremely hot temperatures in the club...and desided it was time for a drink !!
You could see that Jeff was enjoying the warm welcome by everyone in the club....

The next song "Colour my XTC" (Talisman) was brought with so much class....simply amazing !
Then came "Soul divine" (Solo album) and the song "Again 2 be found" (this song came from the one and only Humanimal)

It was getting hotter and hotter in the club but that couldn't stop the fun...both on and off stage !!
Another two songs of his solo records were brougth "Our song" & Eyes of love"
Immediatly followed by two Axel Rudi Pell songs combined together "Fool fool & Warrior"

The next song was a song he had never performed life !!!!!
"Living the life" .... this is actually a song that came from the movie " Rock Star" , a movie about a fictional rock band "Steel Dragon"

After this special treat Jeff made the time to remember some great stars that recently passed away from us.
The band did this by bringing a musical medley of songs by Gary Moore , Rony James Dio , Gotthard & Michael Jackson...
Immediatly followed by a medley from the best Talisman numbers this to remember the loss of his close friend Mr. Marcel Jacob !!

The last song of the nigth was another WET song "One love"
He did come back on stage for one encore in the form of "Stand up (and shout)"

This was one amazing night with a special set of songs !!
Those who weren't there missed one hell of show !!
