Screw The Consequences is the latest piece of work that these Swedes and Danes produced, and gives high hopes for the live show in a few weeks (16-Oct-2010).

The first impression I got when listening to the album, was not a feeling but rather a sum-up of bands that fit the Rats' profile.

Much in the style of Brides Of Destruction, Hardcore Superstar, Gluecifer and plenty more "matured" rock n' roll bands, the album sounds less juvenile than a lot of their contemporary artists' stuff.

This is a band that's got its shit together, that much is sure. Risks are taken, a solid structural and musical basis is present in every song, and these guys sound as if they do exactly what they want to do, without buckling to anyone.

Their punk attitude, Scandinavian rock sound and overall rock n' roll act make this a re-listener for sure, let alone the industrial undertone that is present overall.

It's yet another cross-genre release that's perfect for speeding down the highway, with pumping tracks as "Psycho You", "Boozehound", "I Could Die Here" and many more. Pick it up on their shows or just check them out on-stage, you're in for a thrill!
