One can only have respect for sheer persistence and dedication. Hollywood Burnouts had a plan a couple of years ago. They probably live in the kind of town without a record store and the only available vinyl is some dusty unsold Pretty Boy Floyd, Poison & Tigertailz-records. With no future, no long-term vision and basically no choice they made a bold decision: Let’s start a glam band! But the kind of glam band that goes all the way: uncomfortably high hair, breathtaking leopard pants & some guitars desperately in need of tuning. Combine this with unjust amounts of alcohol, a knack for writing shout-it-out-loud choruses and Hollywood Burnouts was born. The result is a record that normally is not heard anymore this side of common sense. And guess what? That’s the way we like it here, at Sleaze Nation.

This is a no-brainer, peeps, Hollywood Burnouts is everything a young glamster wants in a band and with “Excess All Areas” they present their first full platter (the follow-up to their self-titled EP). For all you leather, hairspray and lipstick junkies to enjoy! And they even have wicked names like Nikki Sin, Mike Nazzty, Vito Crash & Chrizzy Roxx. What’s not to like? Now where did I leave that eyeliner…?
