Wild Kitten – 2012 – F.U.C.K

Wild Kitten have been around since January 2008, lurking in the somewhat quiet glam scene of Greece. I would love to see more girls on the hard rock scene but I’m glad to say that that isn’t what makes Wild Kitten stand out. Singer Eliz Foxy Ford has a strong, gritty tone to her voice although I’m not entirely convinced of the quality or range. The song itself is an thundering underground track with dominant distortion and a heavy rhythm section. Lacking in melody a little perhaps which makes it slightly repetitive. Their seven-track debut album is due out soon so keep an eye out.
