Never heard of these guys before...but I’m very glad I know them now! What the f*kkin f*ck! I’m pretty disappointed with myself discovering Vegas just about now. But anyway, these four (or five) songs played by filthy rockers The Last Vegas are freakin’ awesome! Before I’m gonna start this “in a blink of an eye” review, in case I’m gonna forget to mention, I just want to say: Find yourself their previous albums and get wasted!

The Last Vegas has released four full-length albums to this day, and shoved their major label debut called “Whatever Gets You Off” through our throats in 2009. Produced by one of our Glam Metal Gods; Nikki f’n Sixx! Well, that’s something to be proud of! Now, Last Vegas comes with ‘Other Side”, just to let us know they’re gonna give us what we want; new sleazy material!

About Vegas’ sound; it’s a accessible and refreshing mix between the Aerosmith smoothness and Guns ‘n Roses’ big balls, combined with some AC/DC influenced guitar riffs. But they also putting the Stones and Cinderella in one big ass bottle of JD on bluesy slow-paced songs…just like drinking; I like it stirred!

Four tracks, four different R ‘n R styles ‘n vibes, four killers. You sleazers only have to wait ‘till early 2012 for their new album, so The Vegas thought; “let’s give ‘em a preview that keeps those MF’ers satisfied for a couple of chilly months.” And so they did.

‘Other Side’ kicks in with a heavy and sleazy sound. Those particular guitar riffs keep me bouncing on my chair while I’m writing this. Wait; repeat! The Last Vegas also included the radio edit version, but those *bleeeeps* aren’t sleazy at all.

The next one goes by the name ‘Evil Eyes’, One of the anthems which showcases the Aerosmith influence. Definitely a dirty track to creep up to some nice Glamchicks hanging out with their booze-fuelled friends…

To approach the bluesy sound of bands like Cinderella and Britney Fox… ‘It Ain’t Easy’. A sweet addition indeed and it gives enough variety to keep everyone satisfied. The final one, ‘My Way Forever’ is a blast of true Rock ‘n Roll; nothing more, nothing less.

Now, what you should do? Purchase this killer E.P, get yourself a copy of “Whatever Gets You Off” and if The Last Vegas comes to your town: Turn on your sleazy mind and get your glammed up ass over there!

What you shouldn’t do? Play their music… ‘cause it’s addictive!
