Oriz is a new melodic metal band from Sweden formed in late 2009 by the music producer/multi-musician Alexander Oriz from Huskvarna, Sweden.

All members of ORIZ are very talented musicians who have alot of musical experiences in different metal bands. Some of the members of ORIZ have been touring abroad and also been support act for larger bands such as (Paul Dianno Ex-Iron Maiden) and (White Lion). Most of the members also has degrees in the music business.

The music ORIZ delivers are influenced by melodic classic hardrock/heavy metal from the 70-80’s especially bands like Rainbow, Deep Purple, Whitesnake but also newer bands such as Jorn, Gotthard, Edguy and more.
ORIZ started looking for a new label to release thir 2nd album and in January 2011 A&R Christian Liljegren at Doolittle Group in Sweden showed interest for ORIZ. Christian is also known for his good work as vocalist/composer with Narnia, Divinfire & his latest band Golden Resurrection. 

The new ORIZ album simply titled II deliver a melodic metal production with a clear and soaring sound that Swedish bands are known for. The ORIZ story continues…
