Hailing from Italy, Party Tonight have already stamped their mark on the rock'n'roll scene after opening for the likes of Crashdiet and Crucified Barbara. With one EP behind them already (C'mon Girls – 2007) Party Tonight have released an album that I think really could be rock'n'roll for the masses. With two singers, male and female, they delivered a mixed sound, although it would have been nice to hear Michelle's voice more but nevertheless the band deal you a hard punch of sleazy punk with a fun, distorted sound, heard straight away on opener “Fuck You, Goodbye.” The next three tracks lack a little in structure but are original and have the refreshing feeling of not trying to impersonate anyone. “Take On The Devil” was my favourite song on the album with elements of Skid Row's “In A Darkened Room.” If you want a taster of Party Tonight I would definitely suggest this as, while it may not show off their heavier side it does highlight their creativity and skill. The final three tracks are a little disappointing but give a slightly more hardcore sound to an overall good record.
