One of the Swedish hard rock pioneers formed in 1975 and the first Swedish Hard Rock band performing on MTV already in 1981 with songs from their classic album Warrior.

The legendary Swedish rock band Jerusalem is now releasing their first studio album with completely newly written material in 16 years.

The group is a concept in music in Scandinavia and Europe and has delivered hard-hitting hard rock for over 30 years.

The band has not been lazy the past few years, but members have delivered solo records and a series of records with previously unpublished material as well as compilations of the group's many hits.

Jerusalem was introduced at MTV USA in the 80's with songs from their Warrior album and had a nominee in the US with "Dancing On The Head Of The Serpent".

In '94 they released the album Prophet, the best reviewed record ever in the history of the band.

The group accounts for spirituality and quality which attracts considerable interest among the broad public circles, especially among a generation that was not even in prospect when Ulf and the others in the band took its first tentative steps towards greatness.

I have always liked Jerusalem, but must confess to not always being the biggest fan. She, however, won me over, a special album that, again, features perhaps the group’s finest offering of songs ever.
