Five years, two albums and a cd cover that promises all sorts of craziness. Welcome to the phenomenon called SuperHorrorFuck!

While I was expecting over-the-top horror rock in the vein of Rob Zombie or Alice Cooper, this is fast Italian sleaze instead.

Here and there, like in the intro of "Lick You To Death" and lyrically in general, the horror theme is obvious, but the music is so varied that you need to listen for yourself to figure it out.

There's punk, psychobilly, industrial, glam, rock n' roll, ... Just about anything that's worthwile actually. It's hard for me to picture these guys live, but distributor Street Symphonies promises an otherworldly experience...

The album flies by, every song sounds different but oozes originality and style. Oh yeah, and they do an excellent cover of Katy Perry's "Hot N' Cold". Check out the balls on SuperHorrorFuck, in other words.

Since the songs fly by, it's good to see that they actually did an effort to fill the album with more than just the regular 9 or 10 tracks.

There are some negative remarks about this cd too though. The guitars sound just a little too iron-like and could do with a little more body. Due to the sound, the second guitar line becomes a bit obsolete also, except for "filling the sound out".

I must admit, this is being very picky, since the album itself is top-notch and a bit of a revelation in the genre even, so don't let me scare you.
